As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated Attorney to join our team. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in one or more of our core practice areas — real estate, estate planning, business law, and succession planning — and a demonstrated ability to manage client relationships independently. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to broaden their practice within a supportive, collaborative environment, and for an attorney looking for a better life/work balance in a smaller close-knit community. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related transactional documents; conduct due diligence on residential, commercial, and agricultural property transactions; and advise clients on title issues, easements, and land use maters. Represent clients in real estate disputes, including boundary and title conflicts, breach of contract claims, landlord-tenant matters, and partition actions. Counsel clients on zoning, land use regulations, and permitting requirements, including variance and special use permit applications. Navigate regulatory compliance issues arising from environmental, municipal, and state agency requirements affective real property. Assist clients with entity formation, structuring and governance. Draft and negotiate contracts, operating agreements, and shareholder agreements. Advise clients on business acquisitions, mergers, and asset or stock purchase transactions. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed or eligible for admission to practice law in Wisconsin Preferred 3-7 years in transactional law experience (real estate, estate planning, and or business law). Demonstrated ability to manage a client caseload with minimal supervision.
