Job Description

Summary Responsible for the procedural aspects of civil litigation cases, including facilitating the smooth progression of cases from initiation through resolution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preparing, printing, organizing, and distributing legal documents to process servers and other authorized parties Ensure that all litigation processes comply with court rules and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of document transmission, service attempts, and completed assignments. Monitor service deadlines and ensure documents are distributed promptly. Communicate with process servers regarding assignments, status updates, and service completion. Update internal databases and case management systems with accurate information. Scan, upload, and electronically file documents as required. Monitor and track all litigation deadlines, filings, and court appearances to maintain compliance with procedural requirements. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, and external vendors to facilitate case progression and resolve procedural issues. Proficiency with legal software and document management tools supports the organization and retrieval of critical case information Prepare and submit court documents in accordance with jurisdictional rules and internal protocols. Assist in the preparation of trial materials and support attorneys during hearings and depositions as needed. Conduct research into court rules and procedural updates to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices. Punctual and regular attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate s degree or higher in paralegal studies, legal administration, or related field preferred Two (2) years of experience in administrative, clerical, or office support experience Proficiency in legal case management software preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong organizational skills Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred Work Environment Professional office work environment. Occasionally required to sit for long hours, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. 9AM - 6PM ET
