Job Description
Legal Department Administrator Patrick Industries, a publicly traded company headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, invites you to join a team of dedicated Team Members who are passionate about delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Your adventure awaits! The Legal Department Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the Legal team by providing high level administrative, organizational, and coordination support. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, skilled in managing multiple priorities, and comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders and business units.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling for the Corporate Legal team Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure organized case and documentation management. Draft and manage correspondence, emails, and internal communications. Coordinate information requests and follow ups with Business Units (BUs), underwriters, and internal partners. Maintain spreadsheets, logs, and track documents using strong Excel skills. Conduct intake of legal and insurance-based claims. Prepare, organize, and route necessary claim materials. Track the status of claims and ensure timely follow-up with involved parties. Assist with electronic filing and document organization related to legal matters. Gather information and materials required for ongoing legal matters. Provide support on commercial contract and/or litigation-related tasks Serve as a central communication hub for the department.Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of administrative, office management, legal secretary, or executive assistant experience (legal industry experience preferred but not required). Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience coordinating information between multiple stakeholders is a plus. Skilled in building relationships with legal counsel, insurers, and regulatory bodies.
