Immigration Legal Support Specialist (Bilingual Spanish/English) MPC Financial Corporation Lincoln Park, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Assistance experience within legal industry Spanish Immigration law English Legal support experience Administrative experience Legal administrative experience Full Job Description We are seeking a bilingual Spanish/English Immigration Legal Support Specialist with working knowledge of immigration documentation, forms, and legal processes to join our professional office team. This role supports attorney-supervised immigration-related services and requires familiarity with immigration paperwork, document preparation standards, and case file organization. You will assist in preparing, organizing, and processing immigration-related documentation in a structured office environment. You will work directly under the supervision of a licensed attorney in supporting immigration related matters. This position does not provide legal advice. Responsibilities Prepare and organize immigration forms and supporting documentation under attorney supervision Assist with immigration case intake, document collection, and client onboarding Apply knowledge of immigration forms and document requirements to assist in case preparation Translate documents between Spanish and English (if qualified) Review documents for completeness and formatting accuracy Maintain organized immigration case files and tracking systems Communicate with clients regarding document requests and case updates (non-legal communication only) Scan, file, and manage physical and electronic records Provide general administrative and client support Perform notary services if commissioned in the State of Michigan What We're Looking For Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law office, immigration office, or legal/document preparation role required Bilingual Spanish/English required Case file management in a legal setting Familiarity with immigration forms (I-130, I-485, etc.) Experience assisting clients with immigration document packets Exposure to USCIS filing processes Strong understanding of document accuracy and case organization Ability to follow structured procedures in an attorney-supervised environment Strong attention to detail and professionalism Paralegal experience preferred Important Note This position supports attorney-supervised immigration-related services.
