Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Legal Document Coordinator at Dollar Loan Center is responsible for managing and organizing all legal documentation related to the company's operations. This role ensures the accuracy, accessibility, and timely processing of legal documents to support the legal and compliance teams in maintaining the company's regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the preparation, review, and distribution of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance-related paperwork. Maintain a comprehensive and organized filing system for all legal documents, ensuring easy retrieval and reference. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company standards. Assist in the development and implementation of document management policies and procedures. Monitor and track document status and deadlines, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders. Conduct regular audits of legal documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support the legal team in research and analysis of legal documents as required. Facilitate communication between various departments to ensure alignment and understanding of legal documentation processes.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal document management or a similar role within a financial services environment. Proven track record of coordinating and managing legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Experience working with legal teams, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate the preparation and processing of legal documents.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in using document management software and legal research tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures relevant to the financial services industry. Strong analytical skills to review and interpret legal documents accurately.
