Description The Legal Operations Specialist provides operational, administrative, analytical, and project support for the Legal Department, with primary responsibility for legal invoice management, vendor coordination, and legal systems administration. Oversees daytoday Legal Operations activities and serves as a key contributor to initiatives involving legal technology, reporting, procedure development, and process improvement. Partners with Legal Department attorneys and staff, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure accurate billing and data, efficient workflows, and effective use of legal technology. Essential Functions Performs daily Legal Operations administrative and operational support activities
Supports invoice processing, including review, coding, routing, accrual tracking, and issue resolution with outside counsel and vendors
Maintains and administers the legal matter management and invoicing system, ensuring accurate matter, vendor and financial data
Assists with configuration, implementation, testing, documentation, and training for legal systems and technology
Develops and maintains analytical reports and dashboards to support Legal Operations metrics and provides ad hoc analysis support to support strategic decision making and cost management
Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports implementation efforts
Assists with developing and maintaining applicable procedure/process documentation
Ensures accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and decisionmaking
Collaborates with Accounting, Supplier Management, Corporate Technology and other business units as needed and serves as a point of contact for outside counsel billing and administrative matters Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with ability to interpret financial and operational data
Ability to lead assigned initiatives and manage competing priorities
Proficiency with Excel; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience
