Minimum Qualifications Please Note:
This position is only open to current Virginia State Department of Social Services employees.Demonstrated ability to:
- interpret and apply child support enforcement laws, regulations, policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance and produce outcomes and results
- give guidance to others that promotes teamwork, improving member contributions and team results
- Interact with a diverse public in a service setting to tactfully solve problems, sometimes in difficult situations where conflict is encountered
- Work independently: plan, organize, and handle multiple priorities in a case management/caseload setting
- Work in a considerate and respectful way as a team member to set, clarify and achieve individual and team goals Skill in:
- Reviewing, creating and analyzing reports to determine the appropriate actions needed to achieve results
- Information collection through interviewing and obtaining/reviewing records, and documents and the ability to analyze and determine the appropriate action in order to achieve results
- Effective oral and written communication
- Skill in the use of a personal computer using remote access technology, email, automated information systems and Microsoft Office applications Additional Considerations Work experience in case management, gathering and organizing client documentation to process financial transactions and/or account reconciliation.
