Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal matters, including family law, estate planning, and litigation support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong foundation in legal research, case management, and client communication. You will play a vital role in managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and supporting attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation across various practice areas including family law, civil litigation, criminal law, and more Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as Clio and Westlaw Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw to support case strategies Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with attention to detail and accuracy Support client communication by scheduling interviews, maintaining confidentiality, and providing updates on case progress Perform data entry, filing, and document review to ensure all case files are current and compliant with procedural law requirements Coordinate project management tasks related to multiple cases or legal projects while maintaining organizational efficiency Requirements Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of procedural law and litigation support processes Familiarity with family law, criminal law, estate planning, and general litigation is highly desirable Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle confidential information discreetly Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Clio or other legal billing software is advantageous Demonstrated ability in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and client communication Experience supporting attorneys through administrative tasks including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and clerical duties Knowledge of procedural rules across various jurisdictions; ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and support litigation efforts Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional legal support while advancing your career in a collaborative environment that values innovation and professionalism!
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
