Job Description

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of the hotel property, guests, and associates. Your duties include conducting regular patrols, identifying safety hazards, using surveillance technology, and maintaining a visible security presence. You will collaborate with local emergency services, operate an incident reporting system, and engage with guests to foster a safe environment. Additionally, you'll manage access control and develop response protocols for security situations. Your role is vital in creating a secure and welcoming atmosphere while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveillance & Security:
Use advanced security cameras and technology to monitor the property, detect threats, and prevent security breaches.
Risk Assessments:
Conduct regular safety audits to identify and address potential hazards, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff. Collaboration with
Emergency Services:
Establish communication with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance emergency response capabilities.
Incident Reporting:
Operate a digital incident reporting system to document and resolve safety hazards, security breaches, or suspicious activities.
Visible Security Presence:
Maintain a visible presence across the property, providing proactive assistance and fostering a sense of safety among guests and associates.
Guest Interaction:
Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner while maintaining vigilant security measures.
Access Control:
Utilize access control systems to safeguard restricted areas and prevent unauthorized entry.
Incident Response Protocols:
Develop and communicate response protocols to empower security staff to handle critical situations swiftly and effectively.
