DSW Asset Protection Supervisor Full-Time DSW Shoe Warehouse, Inc. - 3.3 San Francisco, CA Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Benefits Retirement plan Qualifications Employee relationship building Full Job Description The Asset Protection Supervisor is responsible for executing and directing the company's Asset Protection, Shortage Control and Safety programs at the store level. Responsible for supervising the store's Loss Prevention Associates in monitoring the physical protection and safety standards for the store's merchandise, physical structure, customers, and associates. Act as a deterrent to individuals involved in dishonest activity and if necessary, make an apprehension as required. Detect, report, and resolve matters around safety, inventory shrink, cash handling and theft, and for providing customer service as per company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Positively demonstrate the company's Core Values by developing trust and respect among peers and management. Prioritize teamwork and collaborative culture in the store. Lead though change. Model leadership competencies to build credibility and act as a champion for business growth. Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism. Coach and train Asset Protection Associates and Greeters in the execution of the company's Asset Protection program. Create an environment of strong and visible presence by the Asset Protection team. Schedule, supervise, and direct a single or multiple store's Asset Protection Associates in the execution of the company's Asset Protection program with store manager/RAPM guidance as needed. Demonstrate business acumen, including current and prior shrink results. Exhibit strategic thinking and sound decision-making through knowledge using AP key Risk Indicator Reporting and technology. Assist in the recruitment and training of new Asset Protection Associates. Supervise and execute all required audits and reporting of Asset Protection programs. Detect and deter individuals involved in dishonest or illicit activity in the store. The physical detention of individuals responsible for shoplifting is required as necessary. Enforce company standards as they relate to security and safety procedures. Participate in the training of new hire associates in matters of asset protection and safety procedures. In partnership with Store Management, develop solutions to Operational deficiencies and assist in problem solving Asset Protection Issues. Build a high performing team by creating a culture of collaboration. Provide honest and timely direction, follow up, and feedback that will drive results and support team engagement. Deliver results. Execute business expectations within expected timeframes by setting clear expectations, providing consistent performance management to encourage development, as well as consistent follow-up and accountability.

Additional Details :
The successful candidate's actual pay rate offer will consider a wide range of job-related factors including skill sets, years and nature of relevant experience, training, pay rates of associates in similar positions, the candidate's location, and other organizational needs. The estimated hiring pay range has been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential. This position may be eligible for additional incentive compensation, which may include bonuses, or other forms of variable pay, subject to applicable program requirements and company discretion. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid or unpaid time off work, and/or retirement benefits, unless required by law.
