Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Personnel to uphold safety and security standards for The Rock Rest Lodge. As a key member of our team you will be responsible for safeguarding assets, cleaning the bar, monitoring premises, and ensuring a secure and clean environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your role will involve active surveillance, incident response, and maintaining a high level of situational awareness to prevent loss and manage conflicts effectively. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure workplace. Duties Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with managemen. Conduct thorough inspections of premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues. Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and access records for reporting purposes. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures. Requirements Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable. Ability to handle stressful situations with composure while maintaining high alertness. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Background in military or security services is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential for interacting with diverse groups.
