Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly observant and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for protecting company assets by identifying, investigating, and preventing internal and external theft, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and merchandise. Job Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and conduct routine audits to detect and prevent theft, shrinkage, and fraud. Conduct internal and external investigations, interviews, and incident reports in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with leadership to support security and safety initiatives. Conduct safety walkthroughs and ensure all loss prevention and safety protocols are followed. Respond to security incidents and emergencies, including theft, accidents, and policy violations. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and recoveries. Support physical security systems such as alarm systems, access controls, and security devices. Provide training and guidance to employees on loss prevention awareness and best practices. Partner with local law enforcement when needed and assist with legal proceedings or documentation. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, security, or related fields. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, auditing processes, and investigative techniques. Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations. Flexible working various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Physical ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly for extended periods.
