Your energetic and proactive approach will help prevent theft, ensure safety, and maintain a secure shopping experience for customers and staff alike. This vital role combines surveillance expertise, criminal investigation skills, and excellent communication to uphold the integrity of our store operations. You will be empowered to take decisive action, utilize advanced security systems, and collaborate with team members to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Monitor store premises using CCTV systems and other surveillance tools to detect suspicious activity or theft Conduct thorough investigations into external theft incidents, applying interrogation techniques and legal knowledge of search and seizure laws Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during criminal investigations, providing detailed reports and evidence as needed Manage internal communication channels to coordinate security efforts and share critical information discreetly Perform physical security checks, including searches and inspections, to prevent loss and ensure safety compliance Handle confidential information responsibly while documenting incidents through precise report writing Engage with customers professionally to resolve conflicts, deter theft, and promote a secure shopping environment Experience Prior experience in retail store security or loss prevention is highly preferred Strong background in law enforcement, criminal investigation, or security systems knowledge is advantageous Familiarity with CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and retail security investigation procedures Knowledge of criminal law, search and seizure laws, and conflict management strategies Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism Excellent interpersonal skills for internal communication, customer service, and team leadership roles Proven track record in physical security measures, incident response, and report writing Join us to make a meaningful impact by protecting assets while delivering exceptional service.
