In this role, you will be the frontline defender against theft, fraud, and security breaches, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers. Your keen eye for detail, strong investigative skills, and ability to manage conflict effectively will be essential in safeguarding company assets. Duties Monitor store or facility premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or potential theft. Conduct thorough criminal investigations related to theft, fraud, or security incidents, gathering evidence and documenting findings meticulously. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports and supporting criminal investigations. Perform regular security patrols inside and outside the premises to identify vulnerabilities or unauthorized access. Write comprehensive incident reports detailing observations, actions taken, and recommendations for future prevention. Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, de-escalating disputes between customers or staff while maintaining safety protocols. Enforce company policies related to loss prevention, security procedures, and safety standards consistently across all areas of responsibility. Skills Strong background in law enforcement or security operations with experience in surveillance techniques. Proficiency with CCTV systems and other security technology tools used for monitoring premises. Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and evidence collection practices. Excellent report writing skills to document incidents clearly and accurately. Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices tailored to retail or corporate environments. Exceptional observational skills combined with a proactive approach to identifying potential risks before they escalate.
