Job Description
Overview We are seeking an Unarmed Luxury Guard to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff within a high-end retail setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security, loss prevention, and conflict management, ensuring the protection of assets while providing excellent customer service. Duties Monitor and patrol the retail premises to prevent theft and ensure safety. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and report suspicious activities. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, applying first aid and CPR as necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement when required, maintaining clear communication during incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and enhance store security. Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing store policies and procedures. Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations to maintain a peaceful shopping environment. Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality. Skills Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Strong understanding of conflict management principles. Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is advantageous. Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
