JOB SUMMARY
The Loss Prevention officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and inventory within a dynamic distribution and light manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in minimizing loss, enforcing company policies, and maintaining a secure working environment during the afternoon and evening shift end times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(includes other duties as required): Monitor facility access points to prevent unauthorized entry or exit. Conduct routine patrols of the warehouse, manufacturing areas, and perimeter. Investigate incidents involving theft, or suspicious activity. Operate and monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems). Collaborate with operations and HR teams to enforce safety and security protocols. Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches. Maintain detailed incident reports and logs.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or law enforcement training preferred. 2+ years of experience in loss prevention, security, or related field (preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment). Familiarity with security systems and emergency response procedures. Strong observational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. Availability to work afternoon to evening shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.

WORK HOURS
Full-Time, Monday- Friday:
3:00PM-11:30PM Overtime and weekend work may be requested during busy periods.
DRESS CODE
Dress appropriate. Closed-toe shoes are required.
