Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Doorman/Security professional to uphold safety, security, and a welcoming atmosphere at our facility. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring smooth access control while maintaining a secure environment. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents, manage conflicts, and support loss prevention efforts. Duties Greet and assist visitors, staff, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy Verify identities and perform background checks to ensure authorized access Monitor CCTV systems and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches Conduct thorough inspections using manual handling techniques to prevent theft or unauthorized entry Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid, CPR, AED operation, or using a Taser if necessary Manage conflict situations with effective conflict management skills while maintaining safety for all parties Perform security patrols around the premises, including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies Enforce access control policies and perform loss prevention measures to safeguard property Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records for accountability Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with performing background checks Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Experience in loss prevention strategies and CCTV monitoring techniques Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Join us in creating a secure environment where safety meets exceptional service!
