Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive Asset Protection Specialist to join our dynamic team. Using good judgment and Acme Fresh Market training, this associate will play an active role in keeping our stores clean, neat, and safe. Duties Monitor camera systems throughout the store to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and associates Look into concerns related to theft or unusual activity, documenting findings accurately and following established Acme Fresh Market procedures Serve as a calm, professional point of contact during incidents, working with local law enforcement when appropriate Address conflicts or tense situations with patience and professionalism, with the goal of de-escalation and keeping everyone comfortable Support store access and loss prevention procedures in a manner that is respectful to both customers and associates Experience Ability to follow direction, exercise good judgment, and represent Acme Fresh Market professionally at all times A calm, level-headed demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive or tense situations with patience and discretion A strong commitment to confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Prior experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field is a plus but not required — we will train the right person Familiarity with surveillance systems or access control procedures is helpful but not expected Join us as an Asset Protection Specialist and become a vital part of our commitment to safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
