Job Description

Overview Join our team as an Asset Protection Associate and become a vital part of maintaining a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your law enforcement experience, surveillance skills, and conflict management expertise to prevent theft, investigate incidents, and uphold the integrity of our operations. Your proactive approach will help safeguard assets, support team members, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your security and loss prevention skills while making a meaningful impact every day. Duties Monitor store premises using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed Conduct criminal investigations related to theft, fraud, or other security concerns by gathering evidence and documenting incidents thoroughly Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to facilitate swift resolution Perform loss prevention strategies such as employee and visitor inspections to deter theft and reduce shrinkage Write detailed incident reports, surveillance logs, and security documentation to maintain accurate records of all activities Manage conflict situations professionally by de-escalating disputes and ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers Oversee access control procedures for employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors to prevent unauthorized entry Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields with knowledge of surveillance techniques and criminal investigation methods Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security technology tools such as alarm systems or access control devices Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm, assertive demeanor in high-pressure situations Knowledge of loss prevention principles and best practices for reducing theft and internal shrinkage Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail while following established protocols Effective communication skills to liaise with law enforcement agencies, team members, and customers when necessary This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to apply their security expertise in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
