Henshaw Law handles a variety of matters including family law, business and general civil litigation, and criminal defense. Paralegals will work alongside support staff, attorneys, and clients to advance clients' interests. Responsibilities Communicates with attorneys regarding case progress, case strategy, and upcoming deadlines Serves as primary point of contact for answering client inquiries, providing updates to client regarding case progress, and gathering key facts Conducts legal research using online databases and reference materials to identify legal authorities relevant to case strategy and motion writing Drafts pleadings, motions, and demand letters Prepares and files legal documents with the court, ensuring compliance with formatting requirements Assists attorneys in organizing case files and tracking deadlines Aids trial preparation by identifying and organizing relevant exhibits, preparing trial binders, interviewing witnesses, drafting witness questions, and coordinating logistics for court appearances Assists with discovery process by preparing initial disclosures and discovery requests, drafting discovery responses, organizing evidence, managing document production, and writing deposition questions Qualifications Law office experience preferred but willing to train the right person Attention to detail is a must Strong written and verbal communication Experience with client relationship management Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects Works well in collaborative environment Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Aptitude for organizing large volumes of documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat Additional Information Interested applicants should send their resume to Salary $60,000-$80,000 based on experience Benefits include PTO, bonus incentives, health insurance, and 401k with company match
