Job Description

Header Overview We are seeking a Bilingual Receptionist-Legal Assistant, to join our dynamic legal team. This pivotal role combines front-desk responsibilities with essential administrative support, ensuring seamless communication and efficient case management. You will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors, while also assisting with a variety of legal administrative tasks across multiple practice areas. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a professional and welcoming environment that supports our attorneys and clients alike. Duties Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Greet clients, visitors, and vendors warmly while managing front-desk operations with professionalism and courtesy. Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly using excellent phone etiquette; schedule appointments as needed. Manage legal case files and documents using a document management system such as MyCase and other legal research tools. Assist with legal research, document review, proofreading, transcription, and drafting of legal documents across various practice areas. Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as data entry, calendar management, and maintaining case management systems. Perform general clerical duties, including mail handling, photocopying, scanning documents, and maintaining organized files to promote efficiency within the office. Qualifications Ability to speak, translate, and/or interpret in Spanish is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Exceptional written communication skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents. Strong interpersonal skills paired with professional phone etiquette to handle client inquiries effectively.
