We are looking for someone that has 2+ years of consumer bankruptcy experience and is familiar with putting together Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. Please do NOT apply unless you have at least 2 years experience with a consumer bankruptcy firm and are familiar with putting together Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. Pay will be commensurate with experience. The assistant will be responsible for meeting with clients and assisting in the preparation of bankruptcy petitions to prepare for review by an attorney. The legal assistant will also keep track of appointments, send out letters, take in paperwork, manage payments, assist in the filing of the cases, and perform all other duties assigned. The person in this position must exhibit the utmost reliability. Required Skills and Specifications 2+ Years Consumer Bankruptcy Experience with a law firm Familiar with processing/putting together bankruptcy cases Experienced with bankruptcy intakes Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be outgoing and good with people. Must exhibit intermediate computer/technical skills. Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task. Must provide excellent customer service. Reliability, dependability and punctuality are of the utmost importance. Preferred Skills and Specifications Preferred experience using BestCase Bankruptcy software
