Phoenix Hybrid Litigation Paralegal 5+ Years Robert Half - 3.9 Phoenix, AZ Job Details $65,000 - $90,000 a year 20 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy law firm team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is suited for a highly organized individual who can help manage complex matters through each stage of civil litigation while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service. The position offers a primarily in-office environment with some flexibility and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to case strategy, document preparation, and overall matter coordination.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate litigation matters from initial filing through trial preparation, helping attorneys keep cases moving efficiently and accurately. Prepare drafts of pleadings, disclosures, discovery responses, and other case-related documents for attorney review and revision. Organize exhibits, records, and supporting materials for depositions, court filings, hearings, and motion practice. Maintain well-structured case files and witness materials so information is accessible, current, and ready for legal use. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and investigators to gather information and support ongoing discovery efforts. Review, analyze, and summarize evidence, including medical documentation and other case records, to assist attorneys in evaluating claims and defenses. Conduct legal and factual research to support case development, deadlines, and litigation strategy. Draft client status updates and case summaries that clearly outline developments, next steps, and key issues. Track calendars, deadlines, and deliverables using case management and document tools to support accurate matter administration. At least 5 years of litigation paralegal experience with the ability to manage matters independently in a fast-paced legal environment. Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, discovery practices, and trial preparation requirements. Demonstrated skill in drafting legal documents, organizing case materials, and supporting attorneys throughout the life of a case. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach to working with clients and legal teams. Proven ability to prioritize multiple deadlines, stay organized, and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Proficiency with legal technology and document tools such as Adobe Acrobat, case management platforms, calendaring systems, and related office software. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related program is preferred. Prior experience in insurance defense is helpful.
