Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy legal team in California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a candidate who can keep litigation matters moving efficiently from opening through conclusion. The role offers the chance to work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced practice while handling substantive case support and court-related deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of active litigation matters and provide day-to-day support to attorneys throughout each phase of the case lifecycle.
  • Draft, revise, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other case documents for filing and service.
  • Prepare and submit filings in California state courts, while tracking hearing dates, response deadlines, and procedural requirements.
  • Coordinate service of process, maintain accurate case records, and ensure all files remain current and well organized.
  • Assist with trial and hearing preparation by compiling exhibits, organizing binders, and supporting attorneys with pre-trial logistics.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to facilitate communication and case progress.
  • Monitor litigation calendars closely to help ensure timely completion of filings, responses, and other critical case tasks.
