Job Description Support attorneys through all phases of litigation including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeals Draft, format, proofread, cite-check, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and court filings under attorney supervision File documents in California state and federal courts using CM/ECF and applicable e-filing platforms Manage discovery processes including document review, privilege logs, large-scale productions, ESI protocols, metadata, and production specifications Coordinate with eDiscovery vendors, litigation support teams, experts, court reporters, and trial technology providers Prepare deposition and trial materials including exhibits, summaries, witness files, trial binders, demonstratives, and exhibit lists Provide trial technology and hot-seat support by organizing, loading, displaying, and retrieving exhibits, deposition clips, and demonstratives Maintain detailed case chronologies, witness summaries, issue lists, timelines, and production logs Utilize litigation technology platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, TrialDirector, OnCue, CaseMap, or similar tools Track litigation deadlines, court dates, discovery cutoffs, hearings, and trial schedules Accurately record billable and non-billable time in accordance with firm and client guidelines Qualifications 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment Meets California paralegal requirements through certificate, degree, or qualifying law firm experience Strong knowledge of California state and federal court rules and procedures Demonstrated experience with eDiscovery platforms, trial preparation, and courtroom technology Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems Exceptional organization, judgment, discretion, and ability to manage multiple complex matters Why You Will Love Working Here You will be treated as a critical member of the litigation team, not just support staff.
