About Us:
We are a dynamic and client-focused law firm specializing in criminal defense, family law, immigration transitional work, and EOIR matters. Our mission is to provide compassionate and effective legal support to individuals navigating complex legal systems.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant who is fluent in Spanish and passionate about making a difference. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a legal setting. This role involves supporting attorneys and office management across multiple practice areas and requires adaptability, discretion, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys and office management staff with case preparation and document management Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish Draft and translate legal documents and correspondence Support immigration-related, criminal law-related, family law-related filings and EOIR casework Manage scheduling, deadlines, and administrative tasks Conduct basic legal research and data entry Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (not required) Associate's degree (not required) Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) Prior legal experience in immigration law, criminal defense is a must Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to assist across criminal, family, and immigration law matters Why Join Us?
