Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Support attorneys with employment law matters, including case preparation, document management, and legal correspondence.
- Draft, review, proofread, and organize legal documents, pleadings, discovery responses, and case-related materials.
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation timelines to ensure matters remain on track.
- Assist with discovery, document production, records requests, and factual investigation.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, agencies, and internal team members.
- Provide administrative and legal support to help attorneys prepare for hearings, mediations, depositions, and other case events. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 to $73,000 per year.

Fresno, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Support employment law cases from intake through resolution.
- Manage legal documents, case files, deadlines, and attorney support needs.
- Assist with discovery, drafting, research support, and case preparation.
- Coordinate communications with clients, courts, agencies, and legal professionals.
- 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience.
- Employment law experience required.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and document preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and deadline management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with common legal office software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting attorneys in employment litigation, wage and hour matters, discrimination claims, workplace investigations, or related employment law cases.
- Paralegal certificate or related legal education preferred.
- Experience with court filings, discovery coordination, and trial or hearing preparation.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills may be helpful in the Fresno legal market.
