Usher Lancaster, CA Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Legal writing Civil litigations Personal injury law Attention to detail Family law Legal case management Full Job Description Lancaster law firm has immediate vacancy for a highly self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) legal assistant/paralegal for an in-office position. Successful candidate will be able to thrive in a busy professional setting and is adaptable and works well under pressure. Needs to be able to collaborate well with others, has excellent oral and written communication skills, is able to efficiently multitask and prioritize tasks with little supervision, and is eager to learn and grow in the firm. Knowledge and experience in handling family law, personal injury and other general civil matters a huge plus. Responsibilities Manage and organize legal case files, including drafting, editing, and filing pleadings and documents using legal research tools and document management systems. Conduct legal research, organize case information, and assist with discovery, investigations, and procedural tasks under supervision. Support attorneys in family law, personal injury, general and commercial litigation; prepare summaries, timelines, and communications with clients and courts. Schedule court hearings, manage calendars, and coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel; maintain accurate case records and filing compliance.
Perform administrative duties:
proofreading, data entry, proofreading, phone etiquette, and office support; maintain organized files and ensure efficiency.
Office hours:
M-F 8:30a - 5:30p. Please send resume for consideration.
