Key Responsibilities:

Summarization:

Assist in summarizing case details and preparing comprehensive reports for attorneys.

Legal Research & Analysis:

Conduct thorough research, investigate facts, and aid in developing legal arguments and motions.

Document Drafting:

Draft essential legal documents, including meet and confer letters, motions to compel, and discovery responses.

Court Filings:

Prepare legal documents for courts, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.

Document Management:

Organize and archive case documents, including Bates stamping, and maintain detailed records.

Case Preparation:

Compile and maintain case files, track changes in the legal framework, and prepare privilege logs as needed.

Qualifications:

2+ years of civil litigation experience Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment Strong written and oral communication skills Confident in a paperless work environment Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules Familiarity with California discovery rules Meticulous attention to detail Excellent organizational skills
