Job Description

Header Overview Join our dynamic legal team as a Paralegal/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in supporting legal operations while providing exceptional front-desk service. This energetic position offers a unique blend of administrative excellence and legal assistance, ensuring smooth office functions and efficient case management. We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for law and outstanding organizational skills to contribute to our collaborative environment. All roles are paid positions, including internships, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Paralegal can be in school obtaining a Paralegal Education and Certificate. A certificate is necessary to become a Paralegal, but you can be our receptionist while in training. Duties Greet visitors and clients professionally, managing front-desk operations with enthusiasm and courtesy Answer incoming calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate team members with excellent phone etiquette Manage legal documents and case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Conduct legal research across platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all records are up-to-date, properly filed, and easily accessible Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, filing, and transcription to streamline workflow Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information for various legal practice areas including estate planning, family law, personal injury, securities law, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, workers' compensation law, general & commercial litigation Requirements Proven paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience with familiarity in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, or litigation Strong knowledge of procedural law and legal research tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis Proficiency in document review, legal drafting, proofreading, and transcription skills Experience with case management software including iManage and PCLaw; familiarity with document management systems is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Exceptional communication skills for interviewing clients and liaising with team members Demonstrated clerical skills such as filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team efforts in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier legal support while fostering a vibrant office atmosphere.
