Paralegal Position - Minimum of Two Years Experience in Civil Litigation

Casual work attire Growth opportunities Relaxed atmosphere We are seeking to hire an experienced paralegal that will work in a pod format in which the candidate will work with one to two attorneys. The position will be based out of our Rancho Cucamonga office. As a paralegal at the firm, you will be interacting with clients, assisting in the drafting and preparation of discovery, pleadings, and service and filing with the Courts. The preferred candidate should have substantive experience assisting attorneys with dispositive motions (i.e. Motions for Summary Judgments). The ideal candidate will be someone that enjoys working in a diverse workplace, likes the challenges of civil litigation, is able to be a team member who gives advice freely on topics you know and asks for advice on the stuff you don't know. The position offers health benefits and paid vacation time. Hourly wage is $35.00 plus discretionary bonuses.

Responsibilities:

Being a point of client contact. Assisting in the drafting of pleadings and discovery. Prepare for trial and assist trial team in state and Federal Court.

Expectations:

• Paralegal Certificate, Paralegal Degree, or Bachelor's Degree with at least one year of experience as a paralegal;
• experience in discovery, pleadings, and civil litigation, including state and Federal filings;
• ability to manage a caseload and under the direction of an attorney;
• ability to handle caseload independently;
• strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude.

Minimum requirements:

Two years experience working in civil litigation.
