This is a part-time, in-office position involving a combination of legal assistant, receptionist, client intake, and general administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is professional, comfortable communicating with clients, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Answer phones and communicate with current and prospective clients. Conduct initial client intakes and gather documents and information. Manage calendars, including coordinating and scheduling consultations, meetings, depositions, and other appointments. Assist with preparing, formatting, filing, and serving legal documents. Maintain organized electronic and physical client files. Manage case files using systems like CLIO. Scan, print, upload, download, and organize records and documents. Follow up with clients regarding documents, signatures, and case-related information. Request and follow up on employment, payroll, medical, and other records. Assist with basic document review, chronologies, and case organization. Maintain confidentiality of client and other sensitive information. Attend and assist with client (and prospective client) meetings. Provide general administrative support to the attorney and office.
