This is not your regular legal office assistant job. If you are looking for a role where you wait to be told what to do, this is not for you. We do not rush matters and do whatever it takes to get the job done right for clients.

What You'll Do You will be the operational backbone of the firm, ensuring cases move forward without constant oversight while working directly with clients and staff.
This means you will:
Manage cases from intake through resolution Track deadlines, filings, hearings, and follow-ups Communicate with clients, court staff, professionals, and opposing counsel. Prepare and organize legal documents and filings Answer and handle inbound calls with professionalism Identify issues early and address them before they escalate Our systems are organized and deliberate. But when things shift, or fires happen (as they sometimes do), you stay composed and keep everything on track. What We're Looking For Someone who: Has experience in a law office or court system Understands how cases actually progress from start to finish Is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Communicate clearly and confidently Takes ownership without waiting to be told Understands and can help attorneys stay on track
Bonus Points:
Courtroom clerk experience Criminal defense or litigation background Experience managing cases independently
This Role Is NOT For You If:
Have zero experience You need constant direction You wait for tasks instead of understanding next steps and owning outcomes You struggle communicating with clients, team members, or other professionals You've only done basic administrative work without understanding the case flow What You Get $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience) Real responsibility from day one A key role inside a respected and growing firm Opportunity to grow into a high-level contributor Final Note We are not looking for someone to "assist." We are looking for someone we would trust to keep cases moving and the office operating at a high level without constant direction. If that's you, apply.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $90,000 yearly
