This position plays a vital role in helping clients navigate some of life's most important legal and personal decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, professional, and experienced in preparing estate planning documents, coordinating client meetings and signings, and supporting attorneys through all phases of client representation. What You'll Do Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing professional, responsive, and compassionate service. Coordinate client meetings, signings, follow-up appointments, and attorney calendars. Prepare, proofread, format, and finalize estate planning documents including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related correspondence. Assist attorneys with probate and trust administration matters. Coordinate with financial institutions, beneficiaries, accountants, and other professionals. Track deadlines, client requests, and outstanding tasks. Manage incoming calls, mail, document deliveries, and office administration. Maintain organized electronic and physical client files. Assist with monthly billing, reports, and administrative projects.
Qualifications Required:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred:
Experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and/or tax law. Experience with Tabs3 and QuickBooks, or similar accounting and billing software. Colorado Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification. What Success Looks Like Create a welcoming and professional experience for every client. Produce accurate, polished legal documents with minimal supervision. Keep attorneys and matters organized and on schedule. Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a commitment to excellence. Work Environment This position is primarily in-office in Aurora, Colorado. Because estate planning involves significant client interaction and document execution, regular in-person attendance is required.
