This team player has a friendly, positive attitude and a high level of professionalism who will play a key supporting role to ensure our clients are well served.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Managing, organizing and facilitating complex litigation cases involving multiple parties and counsel Collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically Well-developed writing and research skills Drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence Applying both state and federal court rules of civil procedure Calculating, calendaring and tracking court deadlines, and coordinating the scheduling of depositions, mediations, hearings and trials The position requires: 5+ years of progressive complex civil litigation paralegal experience The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people The ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships The ability to work with limited supervision The ability to effectively instruct and direct administrative staff The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume of workload Experience in managing electronic and paper filing systems Experience preparing for and attending arbitration, mediation, and trial
