Candidates interested in this position should be familiar with Colorado E-filing, Windows, MS Office Suite; knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and process; should have experience with medical record reviews; should have excellent time management skills, and should be able to handle a large and complex caseload. Responsibilities for this position include the following: Case management of files in litigation Communication with clients, opposing counsel, providers, etc. Electronic case filing Drafting pleadings, discovery, disclosures, and correspondence General paralegal duties including, but not limited to: Client intakes, pre-litigation tasks, scheduling/calendaring, medical record gathering, medical chronologies, and negotiating medical bills The firm offers excellent pay and benefits. At least 5 years of paralegal experience supporting personal injury or civil litigation matters. Working knowledge of the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and litigation processes. Ability to manage a high-volume, detail-intensive caseload with strong organizational skills. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external contacts.
