Job Description
A top-rated award winning family law firm is looking for a paralegal to work for a Shareholder in a fast paced environment. Prior paralegal experience is required. Family law experience is a plus, but not required so long as paralegal has litigation experience in another practice area. Responsibilities included with this full time position are e-filing, docketing, case management, financial disclosure and discovery preparation, hearing/trial preparation, advanced computer skills, strict attention to detail, the ability to anticipate attorney needs, a professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The necessary skill set requires a competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Electronic Court filings, knowledge of state court rules, excellent communication, written and organizational skills, and experience working directly with clients.
