Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our growing legal team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. While prior legal experience is preferred, it is not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a willingness to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the legal field or for an experienced legal assistant seeking a long-term position with a supportive team. Responsibilities Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence. Maintain electronic and physical client files. Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and other professionals. Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage attorney calendars. Assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence. Assist with the coordination and reconciliation of transactional closings. Organize and file documents with courts, municipalities, and other agencies. Request, review, and organize records and supporting documentation. Perform general administrative and office support duties. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive client information. Assist attorneys with daily workflow and case management. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Highly organized and detail-oriented. Professional, dependable, and punctual. An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills. Comfortable learning new software and office procedures. Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook. Friendly, courteous, and committed to providing outstanding client service.
