Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across a broad spectrum of litigation matters, ensuring efficient case management and meticulous legal research. Your expertise will help drive successful case outcomes by managing complex document review, legal drafting, and project coordination. Duties Manage and organize large volumes of case files using document management systems such as iManage and Westlaw. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other research tools to support litigation strategies. Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Review and analyze documents for relevance, privilege, and accuracy during discovery phases; prepare summaries for attorneys. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel through effective interviewing and communication skills. Assist with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing witness binders, and managing deposition schedules. Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars, and ensuring compliance with court rules. Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, transcription, and maintaining case records in compliance with firm policies. Collaborate with attorneys on complex legal issues across various practice areas including securities law, workers' compensation law, family law, landlord-tenant law, patent law, tribal regulations, immigration law, personal injury law, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), estate planning, and more. Maintain professionalism in phone etiquette while providing exceptional client service and internal support. Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting litigation teams in a busy law office environment. Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, case management software (such as PCLaw), document management systems (like iManage), and legal research platforms (Westlaw and LexisNexis). Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills. Experience working across diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law or personal injury is highly desirable. Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear legal drafting and proofreading of complex documents. Skilled in conducting interviews effectively while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Familiarity with project management principles to coordinate case activities efficiently from inception through resolution. Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing systems (physical or electronic), transcription accuracy and phone etiquette.
