- Temporary, Full-time In order for the courts to maintain a current listing of qualified candidates who are interested in potential employment, applications are being accepted for the position of Temporary Paralegal for the Superior Courts located within the New London Judicial District.
Individuals who may have previously applied and are not currently employed must submit an updated resume.
Court locations include:
- New London Judicial District, 70 Huntington St., New London.
- New London Judicial District at Norwich, 1 Courthouse Sq., Norwich.
- Geographic Area 21 at Norwich, 1 Courthouse Sq., Norwich.
- Superior Court for Juvenile Matters at Waterford, 978 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from a paralegal studies program which earns the candidate a Paralegal Certificate or an associate or bachelor's degree in the field of Paralegal Studies. Other acceptable qualifications include a bachelor's degree or other law-related experience.
Salary :
$19.10 an hour Temporary Paralegal is a full-time position of up to 70 hours in a two-week pay period. Eligibility for group health insurance (medical and dental) is attained after having worked more than 60 days on a half time schedule during 4 bi-weekly periods. If elected within 30 days of hire, group term life insurance begins after six months of employment.
