Job Summary Real Estate Paralegal - Full-Time (Plainfield, CT)
About Us:
We are a small, busy real estate law firm located in Plainfield, Connecticut, dedicated to providing high-quality service to our clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions. We offer a friendly, professional work environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with all aspects of real estate closings, including document preparation, title review, communication with clients, lenders, and agents, and file management.
Experience:
Preferred:
Prior experience as a real estate paralegal or in a real estate-related position (law firm, title company, or lender).
Not required:
We are willing to train motivated candidates who want to grow with our team and have a strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
Prepare closing documents, title commitments, and settlement statements Communicate with clients, lenders, and real estate agents to coordinate closings Review and organize title searches and related materials Manage and maintain closing files from start to finish Perform general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with real estate software a plus Professional and positive attitude
Compensation & Benefits:
Full-time position with benefits Pay commensurate with experience Paid time off, holidays, and additional benefits available
