Immigration Paralegal 221 Frontage Road, Clermont, FL 34711 $23

  • Full-time ```Duties and Responsibilities```
  • Prepare Business/Employment (EB1 & EB2) and family petitions, asylum applications, motions to support removal proceedings, waivers applications, etc.
  • Conduct document review and analysis for immigration cases.
  • Handle supporting documents for various immigration petitions and applications.
  • Organize and maintain case files, including tracking deadlines and important dates
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents
  • Prepare legal forms, letters, and other correspondence
  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, such as affidavits and briefs
  • Coordinate with government agencies and courts regarding case status updates
  • Attend meetings with clients and assist in client interviews
  • Manage processes including but not limited to: drafting legal documents and correspondence; assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court and USCIS filings; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as may be assigned ```Requirements```
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or related field
  • 1-2 Year(s) experience as an immigration paralegal or similar role
  • Required.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish
  • Preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
