Job Description
Work Law Firm is a small but busy firm with deep roots in the community. The firm currently consists of three attorneys with over 15 years of experience each and support staff. The firm wishes to expand to better meet the needs of its growing client base. Please visit the firm website for more information: www.worklawfirmfl.com. Seeking a full time litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal, with experience in real estate and business litigation a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience preferred. Tasks include document organization and filing, scheduling, answering phones, drafting and revising documents and pleadings, filing pleadings, assisting with discovery, assisting with preparation for hearings or trial, communications with clients and similar matters. Ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, has attention to detail, can handle multiple cases at a time, can work with multiple attorneys, and can set tasks and goals to move cases forward. Real estate closing experience a plus but not required. General computer knowledge preferred, proficient with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro, with some knowledge of other programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Clio preferred but not required.
