Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary for a temporary position (approx 6mo) ., with typing, transcribing dictation and computer skills.contracts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good administrative and client skills, and a proactive approach to managing legal documents and case files. Responsibilities Schedule appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings. Draft, review, and proofread documents such as contracts, requests, and correspondence with attention to detail. Organize and maintain case files. Maintain confidentiality of all client information. Support processes through document review, transcription, proofreading, and preparing materials for court filings. Requirements Proven secretarial skillls with familiarity in areas such as estate planning, probate and general business matters. Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in document review and data entry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with electronic filing procedures. Communication skills—both verbal and written—with professional phone etiquette for client interactions. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating strong proofreading and transcription abilities. Prior legal secretarial experience supporting attorney.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
