A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial client interviews and maintain ongoing client communication
- Gather and organize case-related information, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements
- Draft correspondence, including demand letters
- Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and evidence
- Schedule appointments, depositions, and court hearings
- Coordinate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties involved in cases
- Participate in marketing and networking events Key Skills

- Strong executive function skills Experience with personal injury law a plus but not required.
