A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Manage assigned caseload and workflow tasks in MyCase
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Track court deadlines, hearings, and required filings
- Maintain organized digital and physical case files
- Communicate with clients regarding case status, deadlines, and required documents
- Schedule meetings, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Coordinate court filings and monitor incoming court orders and opposing counsel filings
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to keep cases moving efficiently
- Maintain daily billable time entries and uphold firm procedures Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Prefer 1-3 years' legal experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using case management systems (MyCase preferred)
- Professional communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
