This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential administrative support while utilizing your bilingual proficiency to serve a broad client base. You will be instrumental in managing legal documents, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth office operations, all while contributing to impactful legal work across multiple specialties. Duties Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings. Draft, proofread, and review legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and reports with precision and attention to detail. Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other case law databases to assist in case preparation across areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more. Manage case files and document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accurate organization and easy retrieval of case information. Assist with client intake interviews by interviewing clients in both English and the target language to gather pertinent case information efficiently. Support litigation processes through document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining meticulous records of case progress. Coordinate communication between clients, courts, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional correspondence while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize project management skills to track deadlines, court filings, and procedural requirements across various legal practice areas including UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and general litigation. Requirements Fluency in English and the target language (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with diverse clients and team members. Proven experience as a legal administrative assistant or paralegal within a law office setting. Strong knowledge of procedural law requirements across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, patent law, tribal regulations, and workers' compensation law. Familiarity with legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software like iManage or PCLaw is highly preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Demonstrated proficiency in document review, proofreading, transcription services, and drafting legal documents. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly with strong phone etiquette and professional demeanor. Experience with document management systems and data entry; clerical experience in a busy legal environment is advantageous. Knowledge of UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), procedural laws relevant to litigation processes across jurisdictions is desirable.
