Full Job Description Job Overview:
Busy intellectual property law firm looking for a dynamic, full time member for our patent department. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys and assist in the management of legal cases relating to both U.S. and international patents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the law and strong administrative skills.DUTIES:
Assisting with the preparation of formal documents related to patent applications, both U.S. and international. Assisting with filing of U.S. patent applications, and supporting documents, with the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Providing support to Attorneys on patent matters. Liaising with clients on ongoing projects and other intellectual property matters. Liaising with foreign counsel regarding international patent applications. Assist with maintaining client dockets for filing deadlines, including preparing reminders to attorneys and clients as needed. Receipt, review and respond to incoming communication from clients and foreign counsel. Efficiently proofreading and editing of documents prepared by attorneys. Other duties assigned by your supervisorRequirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of assignments and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with filing systems and legal document organization
- Proficiency with computer software like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and also PDF readers and web browsing to access and obtain information.
- Experience with patent application procedures is a plus.

$55,000.00- $60,000.
