Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys and assist in the management of legal cases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the law and strong administrative skills.
Duties :
Preparation of Applications for filing related to management of trademark portfolios. Providing support to Attorneys on trademark matters. Liaising with clients on ongoing projects. Checking status for pending applications. Receipt and initial review of incoming Office Actions. Assist with maintaining the client dockets for filing deadlines, including preparing reminders to attorneys and clients as needed. Prepare documents, including Declarations, Powers of Attorney, and other formal documents. Receipt review and respond to incoming communication from clients and agents.
Qualifications :
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of assignments
  • Familiarity with filing systems and legal document organization
  • Proficiency with computer software like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and also PDF readers and web browsing to access and obtain information.
  • Knowledge of Spanish (oral and writing) is a plus.
