Job Description

Experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal Needed A boutique law firm specializing in Plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death cases is seeking an experienced personal injury paralegal to join our team primarily managing car/truck/motorcycle and premises liability cases. If you are self-motivated and looking to be part of a firm with a reputation for dedicated advocacy, and you have the necessary qualifications, this may be the position for you. Responsibilities Draft intake documents for attorney review, including retainer agreements, correspondence, demands, statutory notices, pleadings, and discovery. Assist attorneys with pre-suit preparation, discovery, litigation, and trial. Request, track, and summarize medical records, bills/liens, and insurance documents. Maintain organized case files in Filevine (training provided if needed). Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court staff. Attend trials to provide real-time trial support. Manage daily administrative tasks, including email/mail management, scanning, and expense tracking. Qualifications Prior experience as a paralegal in personal injury law is required. Please do not apply if your experience is working as a receptionist, performing "legal assistant" type work, working in a non-legal field, or non-personal injury related practice area. Unqualified applicants will not be considered. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Filevine, Zoom, and Westlaw are preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Degree in paralegal studies or Florida Registered Paralegal preferred. Compensation & Benefits Salary commensurate with experience and performance.
